NautaDutilh Avocats Luxembourg has announced that it is organising a seminar dedicated to the upcoming DORA regulation at Sofitel Luxembourg Europe in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Thursday 16 May 2024, from 10:30 to 13:30.

The event forms part of a series of seminars dedicated to addressing outsourcing matters in the financial sector. It will be followed by a networking lunch.

Vincent Wellens, Ottavio Covolo and Garance Diacono from the firm's Tech & Data law team will share their legal insights on compliance challenges and contract negotiation strategies in relation to the forthcoming Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the current regulatory framework as well as future trends, including advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) within DORA's scope.

In addition, Christophe Buschmann, Director at KPMG Luxembourg, will provide his expert view on DORA compliance and general industry trends.

This seminar is specifically designed for legal professionals, compliance officers, risk managers and financial executives working within both financial entities and their service providers who are facing evolving regulatory landscapes and seeking ways to optimise their IT outsourcing practices. Attendees can expect practical strategies for navigating technological and regulatory complexities. Participants will also receive an exclusive comparison table outlining the differences between current EBA/ESMA/CSSF requirements for IT contracts and those emerging from DORA.

Those wishing to attend the seminar should confirm their attendance by Tuesday 30 April 2024 via email: bmc.lux@nautadutilh.com. As places are limited, registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
