On Monday 12 June 2023, the LCGB trade union announced that, together with the OGBL, the new collective agreement at Dupont de Nemours has been agreed and plans for salary improvements.

The new collective agreement is for around 840 members of staff at the Luxembourg site, valid for 3 years, from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025. It provides for the following measures:
• Unique bonuses:
- Payment of a one-time bonus of €500 to each employee in March 2023 (already completed);
- Payment of a single bonus of €750 to each employee in March 2024;
- Payment of a single bonus of €750 to each employee in March 2025.
Subject to compliance with the legal provisions, the payment will be made in the form of a participatory premium, which means that 50% of the premium will be exempt from tax, in accordance with article 115 number 13a of the law concerning the income tax.
• Merit average increases:
Agreement on an average annual "Merit" increase of 1.2% for employees subject to the Single Role principle for the years 2023 (already carried out), 2024 and 2025. The adjustment is made in March of each year.
• Increase in holiday pay:
The holiday pay will be adjusted as follows and paid in May of each year, from 2024:
- up to 5 years of seniority from €448 to €600
- up to 10 years of seniority from €510 to €650
- up to 15 years of seniority from €571 to €700
- up to 20 years of seniority from €633 to €750
- up to 25 years of service from €757 to €850
- up to 30 years of seniority from €881 to €950
- from 30 years of seniority from €1,005 to €1,005

• Conversion of regular public holidays for shift workers:
The usual public holidays of Easter Monday, Braderie Monday in Luxembourg City, and 4 hours at All Saints, which still currently existed for employees working in shifts, will be transformed and compensated by 4 days of additional leave.

The days off for staff working in shifts will therefore amount (from 1 January 2024) to:
- 0-4 years of seniority: 36.5 days
- 5-8 years of seniority: 37.5 days
- 9-12 years of seniority: 38.5 days
- 13-16 years of seniority: 39.5 days
- From 17 years of seniority: 40.5 days

• Increase in the supplement for daily temporary transfers from 25.5% to 26%.

• Various simplifications of texts and updates of texts with the new provisions of the collective agreement.
