EY Luxembourg has announced the creation of a new team dedicated to the Public Sector, with the appointment of Pierre-Jean Forrer as Government and Public Sector Leader.

This reorganisation is aimed at responding to the increased needs of institutions in a context of profound transformation, within a country undergoing full economic and demographic expansion, and in which citizens' expectations of a digitalised and accessible administrative system are growing.

In line with the firm's global ambitions, "Building a Better Working World", EY's goal is to support the transformations of its clients and their environment.

To better support governments and administrations in their major challenges, EY relies on the experience of a network of 20,000 employees dedicated to the public sector in more than 100 countries, as well as the long-standing trust of its partners in Luxembourg.

Moreover, in 2022, for the first time, EY's attractiveness survey (already in place across Europe) will be deployed in Luxembourg. This study conducted by EY is recognised as a useful source of information on a country's main assets, making it possible to examine its attractiveness as an investment destination and providing reliable insights for companies and governments to make economically and politically sound strategies that promote growth and investment.

Pierre-Jean Forrer, who currently serves as Principal at EY Luxembourg, has more than 30 years of experience serving large and multinational companies, small and medium-sized service and manufacturing companies, technology and fintech startups, as well as international public organisations and local public sector entities in France, the Middle East and Luxembourg. Until his recent appointment, he was head of the technology transformation consulting team at EY Luxembourg since March 2017.
