KPMG Luxembourg has announced that it has appointed seven new Partners, all promoted from within the firm: Chris Burkhardt, Julien Ganter, Olivier Lacour Royre d’Autriche, Jean-Paul Olinger, Florence Rouault, Monika Wirtz-Bach and Alexis Wolf all assumed their new roles on 1 October, and the firm will be rolling out a campaign, #YouCanDoItToo, to encourage people of all backgrounds to build a career at KPMG.

The campaign features the new KPMG Partners sharing advice from their own personal experience.

Philippe Meyer, Managing Partner, explained “Becoming a Partner is undeniably rewarding. However, navigating the path to this role requires perseverance, vigor, hard work and courage. We asked our newly promoted Partners about their experience in the firm, and in particular, whether they had any advice that they’d like to share with people looking to build a career at KPMG. Their answers covered the whole spectrum of emotions — from just plain funny to really touching. But most importantly, they show that becoming Partner IS achievable if you set your mind to it and put in the hard work. We hope this campaign will help inspire the next generation of leaders at KPMG.”

Blasting off: Congratulations to our newly promoted staff!

In addition to the seven new Partners, this year’s leadership nominations also include twelve to Associate Partner/Director – Michael Ayachi, Sophie Boulanger, Nilton Constantino, Sonia Dribek, Géraldine Hassler, Stefan Kraiker, Emilien Lebas, Nic Mueller, Olivier Schneider, Jonathan Streicher, Clément Welter and Souleymane Yeo.

A third of employees promoted

The leadership promotions are just one part of the firms’ drive to ensure that KPMG offers the best career development opportunities possible for its employees — a key component in maintaining a highly-skilled workforce that can address the full range of challenges experienced by clients.

Philippe’s newly appointed Head of People, Thierry Ravasio, commented “We’re delighted to see so many of our people moving ahead in their careers. A sense of purpose and direction is incredibly important for both employees and our clients. At KPMG, we feel this very strongly, and we are currently sharing and building on our KPMG Story with our staff. It’s all about ensuring that the public will continue to trust us and see a difference in us. Our people are KPMG’s most important assets, and we want them to see this reflected in their working lives.”
