In January 2016, Janet Jiang took over as Regional Manager China at Cargolux Airlines International S.A.
Ms. Jiang first joined Cargolux in Shanghai in 2000 as a Sales and Reservations Officer, before becoming Sales Manager four years later. In May 2008, she was appointed District Manager Shanghai and was appointed Regional Manager Central and Eastern China in December 2014.
Initially, the married mother of one was exclusively involved in Cargolux's Shanghai activities and station, before also supervising the airline's hub in Zhengzhou after it opened in 2014. Ms. Jiang's new capacity as Regional Manager China will see her oversee the stations in Beijing and Xiamen, as well as all new developments in China. This particular market has rapidly evolved into one of Cargolux's main areas of growth and expansion.
The airline's new subsidiary, Cargolux China, will have its base at Zhengzhou airport after being established alongside Chinese shareholder HNCA.
