On Tuesday 22 December 2015, Luxembourg's Agency for Development of Employment (ADEM) has launched its new website, an employment portal (www.adem.lu).

This project was designed as an information point providing information to both job seekers on the services provided by ADEM and employers on measures to promote employment.

Providing quick and convenient access to all information and services in the field of employment, the portal is an integral part of projects related to e-governance, one of the main levers of state modernisation.

The portal is clearly structured in three parts according to the ADEM target audiences of job seekers, employers and youth. The different procedures and steps to take are explained through infographics and each paragraph refers to guichet.lu so that people can immediately begin their steps when they consult the site. The portal is currently available in French.; the German and English versions will be online in the coming months.

The new site also includes all information related to the labour market statistics, studies and employment-related figures and unemployment.

The launch of the job portal also allows companies who wish to request access to the future JobBoard of ADEM. This new electronic service will be an interactive platform designed to increase the chances of matching employers and job-seekers. From late February 2016, job-seekers will be able to consult offers online of businesses and employers will be able to request access to the profiles of job-seekers registered with ADEM.
