Neumünster Abbey (neimënster) has announced the launch of its new jazz concert series, starting with a concert by Ananda Grows on Friday 2 October 2020 at 20:00 in Salle Robert Krieps.

With "Forward", neimënster is launching a series of concerts in which jazz rubs shoulders with contemporary influences. Audiences will discover emerging artists, established musicians, local projects and international groups. The programme opens up jazz to all kinds of influences by integrating the codes of electro, R&B, hip hop and urban music.

To launch the new concert series, neimënster chose Ananda Grows. Born from the mind of producer and musician Nick Sauber, Ananda Grows is a strange musical act. His music, both light and refined, skillfully mixes electronics and musical instruments. Firmly anchored in jazz, he resolutely flirts in places with the experimental and its haunting rhythms. With collaborations as surprising as they are eclectic with many international artists, Nick Sauber invents concrete and stimulating imaginary music.

Electro music producer Mudaze will play the first part of the concert. Mudaze is a rising figure of the mixture between electronic loops, jazz and classical music.

Concert tickets cost €15, €9 (reduced) or €1.50 with a Kulturpass. Reservation is mandatory, with tickets (and further information) available via tel.: 262-052444 or email: billetterie@neimenster.lu.
