On Tuesday 14 May 2018, the Foyer Group celebrated the inauguration of the extension of its head office in Leudelange, at a ceremony chaired by François Tesch, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Marc Lauer, Chief Executive Officer of Foyer, in the presence of Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, and the Mayor of Leudelange, Diane Bisenius-Feipel,
After almost thirty months of construction, the extension of the Foyer Group headquarters in Leudelange was completed at the end of 2017. Designed according to environmentally-friendly standards, the new building harmoniously integrates into an architectural ensemble that today offers more than 21,000 m2 of office space, more than double the existing surface area. Larger and brighter, Foyer's new foyer allows visitors to be welcomed in a prestigious lobby with a skylight and vegetation. Similarly, new facilities are planned to improve the day-to-day life of Foyer Group employees, such as a new corporate restaurant, a gym and a new state-of-the-art training area.
Installed since 2006 in Leudelange, the Foyer Group and its companies now employ over 700 employees in Luxembourg in insurance, asset management and private equity, 270 more than twelve years ago. The new building houses Luxempart, CapitalatWork Foyer Group and WEALINS, all Foyer Group companies, as well as a rental space of around 2,000 m2.
In recent years, in addition to the expansion of its own building, the Foyer Group has made the choice, in a difficult market context, to place a significant portion of its assets in a sector of the future, real estate. It has thus invested in the construction of two rental buildings, the Air and Dyapason buildings located at La Cloche d'Or, confirming its role as a major financial player in the national economy.
François Tesch, President of the Board of Foyer S.A ., stated "I am happy to know that all the Group's employees in Luxembourg are once again under one roof, and particularly proud to welcome all our customers and visitors to this new showcase of light and greenery. This new headquarters, like our other investments in real estate, reflect the confidence of our shareholders in the future of the Group, and also in the development of Luxembourg's economic activities."
