The Social Business Incubator (SBI) initiative, under the aegis of Luxembourg's Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, has launched a call for projects with social and societal impact in Luxembourg.

The theme of the call is "touch BASE – Be.A.Social.Entrepreneur" and is aimed at supporting budding social entrepreneurs in the Grand Duchy.

The SBI will offer:

  • a structured programme dedicated to budding social entrepreneurs;
  • group training with like-minded people;
  • individual coaching sessions with established entrepreneurs;
  • full immersion in the Luxembourg social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

During more than 60 hours of workshops and 20 hours of individual coaching, the participants will be challenged to define, validate and launch their businesses with social and societal impact.

The programme is broken down into three phases: start, shape and set. Between each phase, participants will be asked to present their progress to a committee of entrepreneurial experts and representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy.

By the end of the programme, participants will know how to materialise their idea of a social impact company, validate their market, develop their financial plan, establish their marketing plan and much more.
