On Friday 6 November 2026, Luxembourg-based software developer Sergii Koval announced the launch of mobile application Castles of Luxembourg.
The application, available on iOS and Android, is designed to help people decide where to go beyond Luxembourg’s capital: find castles and other historic places, learn their stories and plan a route. It brings together more than 55 castles, fortresses and landmarks, with offline maps and alerts for nearby places of interest.
Sergii Koval, who has a keen interest in its castles and history, said: “The idea is simple: to help people discover more of Luxembourg and enjoy a day out with family, children or friends.”
“This is a personal project that grew from my own enthusiasm and a wish to share what I love about the country I live in.”
The app is free to download, with additional paid features.
