Luxembourg startup Nium, a spin-off of the University of Luxembourg's Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) specialised in personalised nutrition, has announced plans to launch its new app "Nutrida" by the end of the year.
In an interview with Silicon Luxembourg, Nium founder Alberto Noronha explained that Nutrida is a digital platform which generates personalised meal plans for its users. The app also offers personalised dietary recommendations and online grocery shopping (delivery/pick-up).
Alberto Noronha said that the startup is currently in talks with "retailers, laboratories, dietitians and cooks" looking to join the platform. The next step for the startup will be to find customers to test the Nutrida app. Fundraising in Luxembourg and beyond is also on the agenda at present, according to Nium's founder.
