Luxfactory and the Luxembourg Village have unveiled the 16 startups selected to represent the Grand Duchy at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in Las Vegas from 8-11 January 2019.
After a tough selection from more than 100 applications, Luxfactory has announced the names of the 16 selected startups for the Luxembourg Village of CES 2019. Atis Network, Art.Design.Painting, Bim-Y, CarVroom, ClearImage, CoinPlus, Crowdaa, Koosmik, LuxAI, Motion-S, MuDesign, MySardines, Scrybto, Skeeled, SYD and Yatta were chosen to exhibit their product at the largest tech and innovation show in the world.
For the 2019 edition, the startups will have the chance to benefit from an even bigger Luxembourg stand than last year. At the heart of the Eureka Park for the latest technology, 100 square metres will be available to promising young startuppers from the Grand Duchy. The design is done in collaboration with the startup Art-Design-Painting and will highlight the visual marketing of "Luxembourg, Let's Make It Happen". The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is a partner for this year.
Luxembourg will make its appearance for the second time in history and this year's selected startups are: Atis Network, a professional social network that enables freelancers and SMEs to find partners and customers; Art.Design.Painting which creates digital boards that embed the latest technologies such as augmented reality, 3D vision and traceability of works via Blockchain technology; Bim-Y which enables existing and emerging buildings to enter the BIM era step-by-step without significant investment; CarVroom, a community platform for the exchange of private vehicles - the Vroomers (platform users); ClearImage which combines image processing with a machine learning filter that evaluates the quality of image segmentation; CoinPlus which will present its Solo card allowing everyone to have a crypto account in the form of a secure, cheap and easily usable credit card for daily operations; Crowdaa, "a label in your pocket" that allows artists to manage and communicate with their fans; Koosmik which provides free access, through mobile applications, to a range of financial services to individuals and professionals; LuxAI, an innovative startup specialising in disruptive robotic solutions for education, health and entertainment; Motion-S which offers an on-board data solution that provides driver profiling and risk prevention on the roads; MuDesign which develops connected objects inspired by the emotive tech, like Ulo, a connected video camera that looks like a little owl; My Sardines, a company that will launch its cryptocurrency Sardine Coin in January 2019 that will allow collectors of vintage sardines to participate in the disruption of this market; Scrybto, a technology company specialising in digital certification, traceability and trading platforms for valuable digital and manufactured products; Skeeled which accompanies candidates throughout the recruitment process; SYD.cloud which offers a platform for the management of business transactions as well as document management by protecting confidential data; Yatta Development SA which has developed the tool Syment, a platform that is based around trustee software and offers functionalities for the occupants of residences or a set of residences (EcoQuartier).
