On Wednesday 20 May 2026, Luxembourg's Ministry of Digitalisation announced the launch of GovTech Lab Luxembourg's new innovation partnership, "TAID.LU".

Through this call for solutions, GovTech Lab aims to develop a reliable tool for detecting deeply manipulated content ("deepfakes"). The proposed solution is intended to support the Luxembourg Independent Audiovisual Authority (ALIA) in carrying out its new monitoring responsibilities related to deepfakes under the European Union's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act.

The solution is to be designed as a secure platform for ALIA staff, combining an intuitive interface, a processing engine and an AI-based layer for detection and explaining the results.

Economic operators interested in participating in TAID.LU are invited to consult the call for solutions on Luxembourg's public procurement portal and submit their application file by Monday 22 June 2026.
