The Luxembourg Commercial Internet Exchange, more widely known by its abbreviation LU-CIX asbl, has announced the addition of Kingston Technology to its members' community as a new Gold member

Kingston, created in 1987, is the largest independent manufacturer of memory products. Trusted by worldwide corporations and data centres, it has also become a leader in technology solutions.

With its expertise in the industry, Kingston Technology has built two specific range of services.

To make the most out of its customers’ server configuration, Kingston has created “Ask an Expert”, a service that includes expert advice on DRAM, SSD and encrypted USB.

With a focus on quality and customer service, Kingston has also created KingstonCare which is a robust suite of free services that have been developed to provide Kingston products users with the reassurance that their business will stay up and running. Kingston chose to consolidate its presence in the Greater Region with LU-CIX because its members’ community gathers more than 90% of the Telecom operators and Data centres service providers in Luxembourg, all looking for a range of top-quality products and services Kingston can propose them.

Sibyl Jacob, Business Development Manager – Belgium & Luxembourg, commented: “At Kingston Technology, we look forward to our partnership with LU-CIX to bring additional value to their members by offering expert advice on memory and storage solution to optimise their infrastructure performance”.

“I am very glad to see that Kingston wants to be a part of Luxembourg’s growing digital infrastructure ecosystem. Luxembourg and its Internet exchange LU-CIX has proven once again that it can provide the leverage our digital infrastructure players need to reach for something big: the Pan-European positioning of Luxembourg’s data centres and digital infrastructure eco-systems with the direct help from Kingston approach is big news", noted former adviser to the Luxembourg Prime Minister office and LU-CIX Vice Chairman, Peter Sodermans, who added that "our country is proud to see that a global player such as Kingston cooperates via LU-CIX with the Luxembourg infrastructure actors, which is a clear success formula”.
