IT One has announced that applications are now open for the second edition of the Luxembourg ICT Women Awards, organised as part of IT Ladies Night.

The Luxembourg ICT Women Awards aim at rewarding and recognising women's expertise and accomplishments in developing Luxembourg as a gender-balanced digital nation. While acknowledging five projects, initiatives and / or personalities, the competition's ambition is to celebrate women's outstanding contribution to the sector while also recognising the best practices and initiatives taken in the Grand Duchy.

Applications are open for the following five awards categories:

• Young ICT Talent of the Year

• ICT Entrepreneur of the Year

• ICT Business Developer of the Year

• Technology Expert of the Year

• Best Corporate Initiative for promoting women role in ICT

To apply, create a candidate profile and register at awards.farvest.com/candidate/luxembourg-ict-women-awards-12111607697501/ and then select the award(s) category(ies) you would like to apply to. Applicants will receive their login details by email after the validation of their candidate profile by the IT One team. Applications must be completed before 23:59 on 26 February 2021.

IT One is also looking for IT professionals to take part as a jury member. Those interested should create a jury profile at awards.farvest.com/jury/luxembourg-ict-women-awards-12111607697501/register. They will receive their login details by email after the validation of their profile by the IT One team. The jury will then be required to review the candidates' applications on the award platform before 23:59 on 15 March 2021.

Competition Rules

Applications to the Luxembourg ICT Women Awards are free of charge. However, to apply, the company or person must be based in Luxembourg and be present (or represented) at the Awards Ceremony. Jury panels composed of IT experts will evaluate and review all the applications. Conflicts of interest will not be accepted, meaning that jury members may vote online for each award except if they are a part of the applying team or company. The results will be revealed during the IT Ladies Night event (date and programme to be announced soon).
