LuxTrust SA, the trusted trusted service provider and trusted European third-party, today announced a 2017 revenue growth of 10% over 2016, in profitable growth and now also relying on international customers outside the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
With a turnover of more than €10.7 million, an operating margin of over 10.5%, skills built on a staff of more than 50 employees, LuxTrust SA is now one of the largest providers of trusted services in Europe.
Since 2016, LuxTrust SA had stated its ambition to grow internationally, in a strategy to benefit from the European regulatory framework in force since 2016 (eIDAS) which was to enable it to extend its trust services across Europe. In a strategy based on the quality of services, full assurance in terms of security and legal responsibility for services provided, and solutions with high added value, LuxTrust has made significant investments over the last two years. In 2017, the company was able to concretise its efforts through the enlistment of new users and customers in Luxembourg, and also abroad, thus successfully exporting its creed "enabling a digital world" to new industrial sectors and to new geographies.
Announcing a European expansion, LuxTrust delivered in October 2017 the first legal electronic signature of a regulatory act of the European Union. A few weeks later, LuxTrust was selected by the Directorate General for Health of the European Commission (DG Health and Food Safety), following an international call for tenders, for the provision of electronic signature and management solutions associated electronic identities in TRACES, the Commission's tool digitally managing all imports of animals, plants and foodstuffs in Europe and to Europe. Used in more than 80 countries, LuxTrust products and services integrated in TRACES will be delivered to all the people and organisations involved in the corresponding import chain, to ensure complete, secure and full value digital management. Other international contracts have been won by LuxTrust in 2017, in various sectors, and will be announced in the coming months.
"Since 2016, we have focused our attention on the satisfaction of our customers and the adequacy between our products and market expectations, without losing sight of the imperative of innovation. In a world in the midst of digital transformation, our customers and users are legitimately asking us to provide effective and comprehensive solutions. Today, we benefit from a broad portfolio of products that allow us to manage the entire digitalisation chain: from the remote identification of people, to the document management solutions for electronic signatures and stamps, solutions based on trusted services up to the maximum level called "qualified". This portfolio allows us to tailor our end-to-end solutions to customer needs. This allowed us to win contracts like the one from DG Health" said Pascal Rogiest, CEO of LuxTrust S.A.
