On the morning of Monday 30 December 2024, the Grand Ducal Police warned that burglars were on the run in the Vianden area.
The police reported that two perpetrators are on the run following a break-in in Vianden at around 02:10 on Monday.
As of 05:00 (time of issued police report), several police units were involved in the ongoing manhunt.
The public is asked to report any "suspicious persons" in the area to the police (tel. 113) "immediately".
The police also warned against picking up hitchhikers.
