The Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage de Vitesse (ULPV) has provided an update on recent and upcoming activities for Luxembourg's short track speed skaters.
COSL Cadre skater Peter Murphy recently returned from the ISU Short Track World Tour 4 in Seoul, South Korea. He qualified for the 1500m quarterfinals, and secured the following results: 500m - 43.557; 1000m - 1:34.097; 1500m - 2:23.232.
Moreover, 60 skaters came together in Luxembourg for the Benelux Cup 2. Several participants skated new personal bests (PBs). The ULPV reported that it received positive feedback for the event.

The ULPV also announced that Luxembourg will host a Starclass competition at the end of January 2025. The event is set to bring together about 180 skaters from across Europe. The Junior CD category includes skaters aged ten to fourteen. The ULPV said it hoped some of its skaters would compete in this three-day competition (featuring over 300 races).
