On Sunday, the British Guides and Brownies in Luxembourg met at the Celtic Hut in Neuhaeusgen - located between Findel and Munsbach - for their traditional Christmas Guiding event.

With many arriving early to help with setting everything up, including setting and lighting the fires, the stalls included hot drinks, a barbecue and snacks as well as Christmas decorations and home produce for sale.

Midway through the 2-hour-long event, a campfire sing-song was held, with everyone joining in to create a real festive spirit.

The Scout hut is constructed with roof openings to allow smoke escape from open fires which provide heat and can also be used for cooking.

The British Guides in Luxembourg currently has 30 Guides and 25 Brownies, as well as 20 Rainbows with around 15 Leaders.
