On Tuesday evening, Luxembourg lost at home to Serbia in the UEFA EURO 2020 European Qualifiers, Group B match played at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg city.

The visitors went ahead after 36 minutes when Mitrovic scored, with the visitors leading 1-0 at half-time. Ten minutes after the interval, his colleague Radonjic, a substitute, made it 2-0 for the visitors, before Luxembourg got a goal back by Turpel with just 24 minutes left on the clock.

But it was the visitors that got the decisive goal, Mitrovic getting his second of the game, with just 12 minutes left on the clock.

With the final score showing Serbia had earned a 3-1 away win, their first in five matches, Luxembourg drop from 3rd in the table to 4th on 4 points. Ukraine are out in front of 13 points from 5 games, with Portugal on 8 points and Serbia on 7.

Luxembourg's next game is on Friday 11 October away to Portugal.
