On Thursday evening, Dudelange were playing in Armenia in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League play-off, 1st leg match; despite a 2-1 win to the home team, Ararat-Armenia, the Luxembourg team managed to score an away goal which could prove to be decisive next week when playing the 2nd leg at home.

The home side scored first, mid-way through the first half thanks to a goal from Mailson Liman on 22 minutes. It stayed 1-0 until half-time, after which Dudelange started to create some chances. Sinani, who also scored in the previous round, found the net on 68 minutes to level scores at 1-1.

However, 3 minutes into time added on at the end of the match, the home side got the decisive goal courtesy of Antonov to leave the score 2-1 on the evening.

For Dudelange, both Pokar and Natami were booked.

The 2ng leg will be played at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg-ville on Thursday 29 August at 20:00.
