On Tuesday 18 June, Luxembourg’s CS Fola Esch football club was drawn against FC Chikura Sachkere of Georgia in the first qualifying round of the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League (Group 7), with Jeunesse Esch (LUX) drawn against Tobol Kostanay (Kazakhstan) in Group 3.

The first-leg games will both be played in Luxembourg on 11 July, with the return legs in Georgia and Kazakhstan respectively on 18 July.

If CS Fola Esch are successful against their Georgoan opponents, their reward will be a 2nd qualifying round match-up against either Scotland’s Aberdeen or RoPS Rovaniemi of Finland (1st leg away). And Jeunesse Esch would play Vitória SC of Portugal (1st leg at home). The 2nd qualifying round matches would be played on 25 July and 1 August.

Also, if F91 Dudelange were to lose their 1st qualifying round match of the UEFA Champions League against FC Valletta of Malta, they would be drawn in the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against either Nõmme Kalju (EST) / Shkëndija (MKD), with the first leg away.
