On Tuesday 19 March 2024, as part of the development of its activities in new European markets, Indosuez Wealth Management (a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole) announced it is strengthening its presence in the Iberian Peninsula and opening a branch in the financial centre of Lisbon.

Located at number 190 2ºB of Avenida da Liberdade, the branch is made up of a team of nine collaborators (private bankers, advisors and commercial assistants). They aim to support family offices, large families, entrepreneurs and expatriates residing in Portugal, by offering them personalised advice, a cutting-edge international offer and a wide range of creative solutions developed by Indosuez experts.

The presence of Indosuez in Portugal will notably promote synergies with the Crédit Agricole group, present in the territory through entities such as Crédit Agricole CIB, Credibom (CA Consumer Finance), Eurofactor (a brand of Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring) or even MUDUM (subsidiary specialising in insurance), and aims to strengthen the proposition of Crédit Agricole's life insurance offering in this market.

This new step is in line with Indosuez's development strategy closer to its clients and strengthens its positioning as a pan-European leader in wealth management, the company added.

Nuno Vilar Gomes was appointed Managing Director of Indosuez Wealth Management in Portugal and will coordinate the development of the Portuguese clientele for all Indosuez entities. He remains responsible for the sales team in charge of Portuguese customers in Luxembourg.

This achievement allows us to expand our branch network and I salute the commitment of all the teams who made this opening possible in just a few months.

Nuno Vilar Gomes, Managing Director of Indosuez Wealth Management in Portugal, said: “The opening of this branch is fully in line with Indosuez’s ambitions. We are committed, thanks to the new team in Lisbon and the one active from Luxembourg, to supporting Portuguese clients in their projects and providing them with an international offer, whether they reside in the territory or elsewhere.
