Luxembourg's National fund to support audiovisual production (Film Fund Luxembourg, FFL) has announced that, in encouraging the co-development of audiovisual works between Luxembourg and Portugal, the FFL and the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA) have confirmed the first projects supported within the framework of the first joint call for projects.
As a result, the four projects are granted development aid for a total of €152,500, namely:
• Anonymous Parents / Pais Anónimos - live series - writers: Edgar Medina, Susana Moreira Marques, Christian Neuman, Rita Reis - Wild Fang Films (LU) / Arquipélago Filmes (PT) - €7,500 (FFL) / €15,000 (ICA)
• Housekeeper - live feature film - writer-director: Ágata de Pinho - Paul Thiltges Distributions (LU) / Uma Pedra No Sapato (PT) - €20,000 (FFL) / €20,000 (ICA).
• Mar Da Palha - live series - writers-directors: Loïc Tanson, Rui Eduardo Abreu - Les Films Fauves (LU) / Terratreme (PT) - €25,000 (FFL) / €25,000 (ICA)
• Projecto Global - live series - writers: Hélder Beja, writer-director: Ivo Marques Ferreira - Tarantula Luxembourg (LU) / O Som e a Furia Producao Audiovisual (PT) - €40,000 (ICA)
