Film Fund Luxembourg has announced that a third Luxembourg co-production will feature in the official selection of the upcoming 76th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Serbian director Vladimir Perišić's feature film Lost Country, co-produced by the Luxembourg company Red Lion (Jeanne Geiben and Vincent Quénault), completed the official selections for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival (16 to 27 May) unveiled last week. The film will be screened in the "La Semaine de la Critique" section, a parallel section of the film festival which is dedicated to discovering young talents in cinematographic creation, by honouring their first and second feature films.

Lost Country is a co-production between Luxembourg, France, Serbia and Croatia supported by Film Fund Luxembourg and notably produced with Luxembourg technical and artistic teams.

Two other Luxembourg co-productionsJeunesse by Wang Bing and Los Delincuentes (The Delinquents) by Rodrigo Moreno (both Les Films Fauves co-productions), also feature on the 2023 Cannes Film Festival lineup.
