For the fourth consecutive year, the Culture Forest Festival is returning to Esch-sur-Alzette.
The one-day music festival - aimed at promoting music 100% made in Luxembourg - is taking place at Parc Clair-Chêne on Saturday 18 May 2024; doors open at 17:00.
A total of six acts will perform throughout the late afternoon and evening / night, representing genres such as electro pop, dark trap, soul, rap and pop with punk or folk accents.
The lineup features: Joel Marques, a Luxembourg-based singer-songwriter who reached the semi-final of the 13th season of The Voice of Germany in 2023; fellow Luxembourg Song Contest finalist CHAiLD who will take audiences to a melancholic, electro-pop world; MAZ UNIVERZE which offers audiences an alternative emo-rap with references to punk and metal; Josh Island, a "European at heart" whose music is a mixture of catchy pop and soul and folk influences; Oke, a Luxembourg-based artist who fled Nigeria in 2008 and now writes and co-produces his own dance and soul music; Mallows, a four-piece pop-punk band from Luxembourg, will also take the stage.
In addition, special guest Tali is set to perform "Fighter" for the first time since the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden.
Food trucks and drinks will be available on-site.
Regular tickets cost €16; "last call" tickets will soon go on sale (online and at the event) for €20. For further information, visit the website https://www.culture-forest.com/.
