The organisers of the Zeltik Festival, the only festival in the Greater Region dedicated to Celtic music, have announced that the event will go ahead on two separate occasions this year: first on Saturday 12 March and then on Sunday 19 June 2022.

The organisers announced this new format on social media, explaining that they had been "very busy finding a way to make Zeltik 2022 happen", taking into consideration various tour cancellations, travel restrictions, availabilities, COVID-19 measures and the public's expectations.

On Saturday 12 March 2022, Irish step dancers the Danceperados of Ireland, Irish folk-world music group Kíla and Canadian folk music band The Paperboys will perform at the opderschmelz cultural centre in Dudelange. The festival will kick off at 18:00. Tickets cost €25 and are available at: https://zeltik.lu/tickets/.

Then, on Sunday 19 June 2022, Breton rock band Red Cardell, Scottish band Mànran and German folk-rock band Paddy Goes To Holyhead, among others, will perform in the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville (town square) in Dudelange. The event will start at 17:00. This edition will be free of charge, because, as the organisers explained, "we all deserve it after these last couple of months".

The organisers said that they are also working on a "Zeltik Prelude", with further details set to follow.
