With the festival season and summer approaching, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced the arrival of Marlon Roudette as headlining the urban outdoor festival Rock um Knuedler, to be held on Sunday 17 July 2016 in the city centre of Luxembourg, as part of the Summer in the City festival.

The Rock um Knuedler rock festival is the most popular to be held in the open air in the capital. The day before, on Saturday, 16 July, the MeYouZik world music festival will be in full swing with three announced Highlights: Tritha Electric, Soweto Soul and Shantel.

Marlon Roudette is a British/Vincentian musician, a former member of the band Mattafix who is famous for his song "New Age" which was an international hit, reaching number one in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

Sat 16 July: MeYouZik @ Place Guillaume II

After the market (08:00 - 13:30) on the Place Guillaume II, the MeYouZik world music festival will feature Tritha Electric (ethno punk with an Indian flavour), Soweto Soul (South Africa) and Shantel as well as on the Lion Stage on Place Guillaume II, a total of 9 new groups: Velotronix, Imperial Kikiristan, Danainii, Eloïse et les Passeurs de Rêves, Bongomatik, Boogie-Jam, Eugene The Cat, Transylvania and La Dame Blanche.
