BELONG, an intercultural arts and world-music initiative in collaboration with Intangible World Heritage Organization (IWHO) and Formation et Sensibilisation Luxembourg (FSL) has announced that the BELONG World Music Festival will return to Esch-sur-Alzette on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August 2026.
Set to take place at a cultural and community hub in Esch-sur-Alzette (Bâtiment 4) the two-day festival will celebrate global cultures under the theme "Many Stories, One Stage", with a programme featuring live world music concerts, cultural workshops, masterclasses, film screenings, a community kitchen, ancient games and a dedicated Kids Zone.
The organisers have confirmed that the programme will feature a range of performances showcasing cultures from around the world, including Peruvian and flamenco dance, Middle Eastern and African percussion, Swedish folk music, Indo-Persian music, Latin American music and Balkan music.
The event is free of charge and open to everyone. Visitors who register in advance will also receive a complimentary welcome drink.
