On Thursday, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) announced details of the 2015 Summer in the City programme which takes place from 21 June - 9 September 2015 and includes urban and open-air festivals, as well as large concerts and a comprehensive cultural programme; the highlight is the Rock um Knuedler on 12 July with Anastacia.

- Sunday 21 June @ 21:00: Knuedler goes classic - Madame Butterfly with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (OPL)

- Sunday 21 June 2015 @ 11:00 & 18:00: Fête de la Musique on Place d'Armes; from 17:00 at Grand-Rue-Boucherie Kaiffer; from 17:15 at the Holy Ghost Stage, rue du Saint-Esprit; from 16:15 at the Place Clairefontaine; from 18:00 at the Gëlle Fra – QuattroPole Stage; from 18:00 on the Corniche – Elevator Stage

- all summer long: bands performing on Place d'Armnes

- Monday 22 June 2015: the Eve of the National Day celebrations (specific details to be announced later)
