Luxembourg nature conservation non-profit organisation natur&ëmwelt has launched a call for new volunteers.
The non-profit organises a wide range of practical conservation activities throughout the year.
Upcoming activities include:
- Schoul an Natur: helping the natur&ëmwelt secretary department with the mailing on 15 and 16 February 2022; register via email: benevolat@naturemwelt.lu;
- Chantier nature: helping to clean around the Schlammwiss bird ringing station on 19 and 26 February 2022, from 10:00 to 16:00 (meeting point: the car park of Übersyren football grounds); register via email: j.p.schmitz@naturemwelt.lu or via tel.: 621-293695;
- Chantier nature: helping to clean natural orchid territories in Botterweck, close to the Herrenberg hill in Diekirch on 5 March 2022, from 10:00 to 12:00; to register, contact Béatrice Casagranda via email: comite@naturemwelt-nordstad.lu or via tel.: 621-650470;
- Chantier nature: helping to clean up the fruit orchard in Luxembourg-Cents on 5 March 2022, from 14:00 to 17:00; to register, contact Anne Faber via tel.: 621-187679.
All participants are welcome. Wearing appropriate clothing on the work sites is advised.
Anyone interested in learning more about the work being carried out at natur&ëmwelt is invited to join a training session on various subjects.
