On Wednesday 23 November 2022, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke successively received in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace five new ambassadors to Luxembourg for the presentation of their credentials and the delivery of the letter of recall of their predecessors.

The new ambassadors are as follows:

- His Excellency Mr José Gabriel Lambour Penalonzo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala; 

- Her Excellency Ms Gloria Navarrete Pinto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile;

- Her Excellency Ms Saja Majali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan;

- Her Excellency Ms Idit Rosenzweig-Abu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Israel;

- His Excellency Mr Clint Tanti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Malta.
