On Wednesday 26 October 2022, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke received successively in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace five new ambassadors to Luxembourg for the presentation of their credentials.

The new ambassadors are as follows:

- His Excellency Tadahiro Matsubara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan;
- His Excellency Baye Moctar Diop, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal;
- His Excellency Frédéric Labarrère, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Principality of Monaco;
- Her Excellency Valeria Denisse Vilaseca Chumacero, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia;
- His Excellency Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
