The British Embassy in Luxembourg has produced a booklet on the matter of child welfare.

It gives advice and options of available local support with regard to child protection. The booklet covers a wide range of topics concerning children and young adults. From potential and actual child abductions, child poverty and domestic violence to aid and support groups for young alcohol, drug, gambling and gaming addicts.

The booklet also gives a whole list of helpful contacts such as the children's ombudsman, Administration de l'Emploi and emergency numbers. Also included is the contact information for various family counselling and meditation aids and advice on other topics such as eating disorders, internet safety and sexual health.

This booklet was put together by the British Embassy in Luxembourg, with the help of many child welfare organisations in Luxembourg, for the resident British community. It carries no charge and anyone wanting a copy can pick one up at 5, Boulevard Joseph II, L-1840 Luxembourg.
