On thursday 28 April 2022, Luxembourg's National Institute for the Development of Continued Professional Training (INFPC) announced the publication of the new edition of the directory of training organisations featuring 445 companies and professionals.

This guide aimed to offer an all-round understanding of the training offers in Luxembourg and to promote the skills development of employees within the company or individuals. It is dedicated to professionals in training, employment and guidance.

The 2022 directory, exclusively available in digital version, brings together 445 approved training organisations, private, public, institutional and associative. Classified by field of training, the referenced professionals offer an offer covering all sectors of the Luxembourg economy.

At the top of the training areas in which the organisations are most active are those of personal and professional development, business management and human resources, quality and safety, health, IT, finance, insurance and law as well as languages.

Get to know the training offer in Luxembourg better

The directory presents essential information relating to training organisations active in Luxembourg with a dynamic update according to the evolution of the training offer.

The address book provides access to the contact details of all the training organisations in the directory. The section dedicated to the rental of training rooms facilitates the logistical aspect of the organisation of training.

In this edition, new training providers contribute to enriching the training offer in many areas: IT, personal and professional development, management supervision, law, commercial management, languages, etc. In total over one year, more than 1,500 training courses are complementing the courses offered on lifelong-learning.lu, .

Additional services on lifelong-learning.lu

The digital training purchase experience continues on lifelong-learning.lu through the use of the search engine giving access to more than 12,000 training courses supplied by the member organisations of the platform. The choice of the field of training, the location of the training or other relevant criteria and the consultation of the training descriptions refine the selection process to adapt to the needs of the company.

In addition to the search engine, the company has the possibility of using various services on the lifelong-learning.lu platform in order to develop and manage the training plan organised for its employees.

Thus, the publication service for tailor-made training offers offers the company a simple and effective way to question the training market. The company publishes its specific training needs free of charge and without obligation with the training organisations that are members of lifelong-learning.lu and receives appropriate training solutions from them.

State financial aid for in-company training

To support investments in business training, the legislation on continuing vocational training offers financial assistance amounting to 15% taxable on the amount of the sums granted. This is the co-financing of in-company training, a mechanism that private sector companies, legally established in Luxembourg and carrying out their main activities there, can request.
