Financial development agency Luxembourg for Finance (LFF) launched yesterday a new video entitled 'Luxembourg: China's Bridge to Europe', outlining Luxembourg as the ideal entry gate into the European Union for China's financial community.
LFF was created under the Presidency of the former Minister of Finance, Luc Frieden, as a public-private partnership between the Luxembourg Government and the Luxembourg Financial Industry Federation. The new video was released to coincide with the LFF financial mission to China from 21 to 25 September 2015, wherein the agency will hold several seminars on the Luxembourg financial sector in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
The video explores why Luxembourg has become a leading international Renminbi (RMB) centre in the heart of Europe, a cooperative relationship affirmed during a July meeting between Luxembourg's Minister for Finance, Pierre Gramegna and Ambassador for the People's Republic of China in Luxembourg, Huang Chanqing.
