Luxembourg's Artemysia Theatre has announced it will present Shakespeare As You Like It at Centre Culturel de Hollerich (34 Rue Emile Lavandier, Luxembourg-Hollerich) on Saturday 7 June 2025 at 20:00.
Ashton Laffineur and Raffaella D’Angelo will direct the original production, which students from the Artemysia Theatre will perform in modern English. It includes reworkings of a number of scenes from William Shakespeare, reimagined for modern times.
Artemysia Theatre described the production as “a daring, modern take on the Bard’s greatest scenes” and stated: “These timeless stories are brought to the stage with a contemporary twist infused with physical theatre, rich emotion and daring staging.”
