The Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg today announced the launch of their new YouTube channel as part of the #THEATERDOHEEM ("theatre at home") initiative.

From tomorrow at 20:00, theatre lovers will have the chance to (re)discover some of the creations presented at the Théâtres de la Ville in previous seasons on YouTube, for seven consecutive days.

As of this Saturday evening, the Théâtres de la Ville will upload two productions per weekend on the platform which will be available to watch for seven consecutive days.

The new YouTube channel (will open with the streaming of "Jeu de l’amour et du hasard" (Game of Love and Chance), a show created during the 2017-18 theatre season and presented again last October at the Grand Théâtre. Spectators will be able to watch this French-language production from the comfort of their homes on Saturday 4 April 2020 at 20:00. The performance can be watched until 11 April 2020.

The following day, Sunday 5 April 2020, at 17:00, spectators can watch "Rumpelstilzchen" (Rumpelstiltskin), a Luxembourgish-language production which met with great success when it was created at the Grand Théâtre in December 2017. The performance can be watched from 5 to 12 April 2020.
