The Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg and United Instruments of Lucilin will present Quiet Songs on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 June 2025 at the Grand Théâtre Studio in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, starting at 20:00.
Quiet Songs, by Finn Beames, is a coming-of-age tale, led by the Oscar-nominated actress Ruth Negga, presented as part of TalentLAB 2025.
“Blending live music and theatre, Quiet Songs tells the story of a teenager whose voice, shattered by bullying, seeks to be reborn. On stage, a string quartet playing with swords, led by Chihiro Ono, with the musicians of United Instruments of Lucilin, creates an elegant and unsettling universe, both beautiful and dark,” stated the organisers.
Following performances at London's Barbican, this production is now in Luxembourg, with a workshop in Luxembourg schools. An audience discussion will follow the performance on Monday 2 June 2025.
The performance will be in English with a running time of one hour, without an intermission.
Tickets cost €8 for under 26-years-olds and €20 for those over the age of 26.
