Luxembourg's National Literature Centre (CNL) has announced that it will host an evening with French author Michael Roch, set to take place at the CNL premises in Mersch on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 19:30, as part of Black History Month 2026.

Entitled "Afrofuturism", the event will focus on Michael Roch's science-fiction novels Tè Mawon and Kò Mawon, which explore colonial history, resistance and freedom through the fictional Afro-cyberpunk world of Lanvil.

Organised in collaboration with Black History Month and Ibikéyé, Charlotte-Camille Salanon will lead a discussion with the author about his writing, the concept of marronage and the relationship between science fiction, history and Caribbean culture.
