A Pop-up Studio recording set will be installed at Neumünster Abbey (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund this summer.

This summer, neimënster is offering its customers and partners the opportunity to use a film set and a video control room to broadcast their virtual events. The Pop-up Studio allows recording or broadcasting of live video content on the main streaming platforms.

The global health crisis linked to the fight against the spread of COVID-19 has profoundly changed working and communication habits; initiatives have multiplied to overcome the obstacles linked to the confinement of populations. To adapt to new post-confinement habits, neimënster has teamed up with the company MGS Event Provider to install a filming and professional management platform on its site.

Mounted in the José Ensch room, the studio allows the recording or broadcasting of live video content on the main streaming platforms. The installation is made up of a stage and an LED screen in P3 with a size of 5000 x 3000 mm, lighting provided by professional studio projectors, four HD cameras, three return screens and a timer.

Behind the filming platform, a professional control centre ensures the technical management of adaptations, from projections on the LED screen and inlays of a second image on the screen to broadcasting a video or PowerPoint presentation during the recording. The recordings can be filmed or broadcast live. In addition, participants can easily ask the speaker questions through a live chat system to allow interactive and dynamic interventions. Finally, whether recorded or broadcast live, videos can be replayed as long as they have been uploaded to a YouTube viewing platform.
