A jury panel of representatives of the cultural community has selected the artists who will received a three-month residency at the premises of the Château de Bourglinster in 2016, it was yesterday revealed.
Five artists will take the place of Chantal Maquet, who won a three-month artistic residency in July 2015 for her art exhibition. The new artists are:
- Marc Buchy (1988, Metz) photo, video, installation
- Irma Blumstok (1991, Leipzig), Video
- Yiumsiri Vantanapindu (1980, Thailand) Ceramics, Jewellery
- Santa Buss (1981, Latvia) musical composition
- Vincent Chevillon (1981, Paris) installation, sculpture.
The artists residency programme, held in the annexes of the Château de Bourglinster, is open to any discipline and artistic style and aims to encourage the creative flow with an environment conducive to research and experimentation. Artists selected will benefit from accommodation, a workshop, as well as practical and financial support.
