The Luxembourg Cricket Federation (LCF) has announced that Luxembourg will be hosting the third edition of the Roger Barker U13 International Cricket Tournament at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June 2024.
The event will feature U13 teams from Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland, "promising a thrilling weekend of youth cricket", noted the LCF.
The tournament will kick off at 08:30 on Saturday, with a series of matches leading up to the grand final, which will be played at 14:00 on Sunday. The organisers described this as a "fantastic opportunity to witness some of the best young cricket talent in the region and support our future cricket stars".
In addition to showcasing the emerging talent in youth cricket, the tournament also highlights the spirit of international sportsmanship and community.
Everyone is welcome to join and support the Luxembourg U13 team at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground this coming weekend.
