The third edition of Luxembourg Blockchain Week, held from Monday 9 to Friday 13 October 2023, brought together over 300 professionals and more than 80 speakers.

The organiser, Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, has described the event as a "resounding success, solidifying its position as a must-attend event for blockchain professionals, experts and enthusiasts."

The event featured a varied programme comprising conferences, workshops and networking opportunities, hosted at various locations including D'Coque, the Digital Learning Hub and the House of Startups.

A turnout of over 300 professionals and insights from more than 80 speakers marked a new milestone in the event's history.

According to the organiser, the event succeeded in promoting collaboration between local and international stakeholders, thus strengthening Luxembourg's reputation as a "prime destination" for blockchain enthusiasts.

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to discover pioneering companies and startups that are at the forefront of blockchain innovation. The event also provided insights into government initiatives aimed at fostering the widespread adoption of blockchain technology within Luxembourg.

The Infrachain Summit, a flagship event in Luxembourg Blockchain Week 2023, gathered high-level keynote speakers such as Yevheniia Broshevan, Co-Founder and CBDO of Hacken, Christophe Maertens, Lead and Coordinator of Blockchain4Belgium, and Jaguar Adva Gal, CEO of JAGuar AI Reg&Comp and JAGuar Lawyers. The seventh edition delved into the European blockchain services infrastructure (EBSI), security, privacy and compliance, and governance through decentralised autonomous organisations (DAO).

The conference was also the stage of the announcement of the Infrachain Tezos Challenge Powered by Telindus, a new blockchain hackathon in Luxembourg, centred around revolutionising compliance with the Tezos blockchain. The hackathon will take place on 28 and 29 November 2023 and teams can register on https://challenge.infrachain.com/.

Luxembourg Blockchain Week will return with a fourth edition (further details to follow).
