The Institute of Financial Integrity and Sustainability (IFIS) has announced that it will host a conference titled “Journalism, Facts, Alternative Facts: Whose Truth Should You Believe?” on Monday 22 September 2025 at Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund.
The event will be led by David Schrieberg, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, author, digital media entrepreneur and serial start-up founder. He is also the CEO and Co-Founder of VitalBriefing, a global Luxembourg-based market intelligence company that combines AI-integrated search-and-publish technology with expert journalistic curation.
According to IFIS, the conference will explore the challenges of decision-making in a world that has become “ever more multi-spectral and contentious.” The organisers noted that “the fog of perceptions” can obscure facts, alternative facts and potential truths, making it increasingly difficult to determine “what version of the world we wish to promote and be part of.”
The conference participation fee is set at €55 for IFIS members and €85 for non-members. Further details are available via the IFIS website.
