The Institute for Financial Integrity and Sustainability (IFIS) has announced that it is organising a hybrid conference and lunch with Katharina Bryan, Head of Private Office of a Member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA), on Tuesday 29 November 2022 from 12:45 to 14:15.

Katharina Bryan will address the topic: "Sustainability Reporting: Trust, Transparency and the Role of Auditors". She will discuss what auditing can add to sustainability reporting, which challenges the sector faces and how public sector auditing is relevant for this.

Katharina Bryan is en expert on developing and supervising strategy, audit work and stakeholder engagement. During her tweleve years at the ECA, she has focused on the area of sustainability, climate change and energy, designing and delivering impactful audits and reviews.  More recently, she contributed to incorporating digitalisation and sustainability in the institution’s strategy.  Before joining the ECA, she was Head of an EU Structural Funds’ Managing Authority in Austria.  She provides training on how to integrate sustainability in performance audits and is an expert in EU policy and institutions.

The event will take place in person at Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund but also online via Zoom (link to be provided upon registration).
