The Accident Insurance Association (AAA) has announced the fifteenth edition of the Occupational Safety and Health (sécurité-santé au travail - SST) Forum taking place on Wednesday 26 October 2022 from 08:00 to 18:00 at Luxexpo The Box.

A key event in the field of occupational safety and health, Luxembourg's Minister of Social Security, Claude Haagen, will open the official session of the Forum and award the Occupational Safety and Health prize to the winners of this edition.

Organised by the AAA, the Union of Luxembourg Enterprises (UEL) and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR), the Forum is part of the national strategy VISION ZERO prevention programme launched three years ago, which defends the idea that all workplace accidents can be avoided and that a world without serious accidents or fatalities is possible.

Programne:

  • Official opening session and presentation of the Occupational Safety and Health prize by Minister Haagen (09:00-10:00)
  • 100 exhibitors covering different topics:
    • PPE / fire / first aid,
    • Production / handling / site / height,
    • Risk prevention / OHS advice and training (apart from other categories),
    • Ergonomics / health / well-being,
    • Institutional partners.
  • 20 workshops on a wide variety of subjects recognized as continuing education for designated workers:
    • Culture of prevention, mental health, Crew Resource Management, new technologies, lifestyle, worksite safety, healthy leadership, fall arrest nets, CSR, rescuer working at height, health and safety delegate, neurosciences, risk analysis, road safety, Employee engagement and motivation (EN), Suchtprävention (DE), quality of life, Abfall als Gefahrgut (DE), prevention of moral harassment, Industrial Exoskeletons, prevention of psychosocial risks, neuroergonomics, ZERO accidents.
  • Various activities throughout the day.
