The British-Luxembourg Society (BLS) has announced that it is organising a hybrid lecture on the history and role of the Chamber of Deputies (Luxembourg's Parliament) on Thursday 23 September 2021, from 18:00 to 19:00.

This event will be held online, with a few physical places available at the British Ambassador's Residence in Luxembourg-Ville.

Fernand Etgen, President of the Chamber of Deputies, will speak about "the Chambre des Députés, its history and role in the country". The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.

The lecture will be livestreamed to the BLS YouTube channel.

BLS members who wish to attend in person will be charged €20 each for canapés and drinks after the lecture. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only fully vaccinated, negatively tested or recovered members may attend this event; written evidence is required. To register to attend in person, see https://b-l-s.lu/events/current-events.
