On Saturday 9 April 2016, the Forum Geesseknäppchen hosted the sixth edition of Hack4kids as part of the 'made in Luxembourg' Game of Code event.

Thirty children between the ages of 7 and 12 gathered to take part in two workshops dedicated to the theme of programming: a SECURITYMADEIN.LU workshop on Scratch during which children were able to learn to creatively use software programming developed by MIT; and a workshop where groups were able to meet the robot Nao, created by Aldebaran, and to learn how to programme through its platform development.

Education professionals and IT security experts such as CodeClub Luxembourg, SECURITYMADEIN.LU and Aldebaran were present to provide coaching.

The event, geared towards the younger generation, formed part of the Game of Code Hackathon which received around 130 developers over the weekend, 35 teams of which participated in two challenges offered by Docler Holding and Digital Lëtzebuerg, with final results determining Etix Kru and The Snake as the overall winners.
