LUkraine Asbl has announced the composition of its new Committee following its Annual General Assembly (AGM), held at the Centre culturel Jean-François Boch in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg on Saturday 19 September 2026.
Members elected a seven-person Committee for the association's next mandate, with Inna Yaremenko serving as President, Nicolas Zharov as Vice-President, Olena Klopota as Secretary General and Olga Oseledets as Treasurer.
The Committee also includes Eddie Berkovich, Anna Dolia and Viacheslav Hanyk. The latter has joined the Committee in place of Philippe Jacobs.
According to LUkraine Asbl, during the AGM, members approved it's 2025 financial report, which recorded net revenue of €1.46 million and a net surplus of €231,329. The independent audit findings were also accepted without objection.
Members additionally approved the association's 2026 budget of €1.96 million. Of this amount, approximately €1.42 million, or 72%, has been allocated to project activities covering humanitarian aid, education, youth development, culture and advocacy. The remainder is earmarked for organisational development and operating costs.
Speaking to Chronicle.lu following the AGM, LUkraine President Inna Yaremenko reflected on the association's activities and its plans for the coming years.
She said: "We have reflected on our results in 2025 - and they are both meaningful and impressive. We have also defined our strategy for 2026-2029, continuing to pursue our most important mission: Rebuild People to Rebuild Ukraine. Today, more than ever, our community in Luxembourg has an important role to play. We must continue to stand with Ukraine, support Ukrainians who have found safety here, and ensure that Ukraine remains visible and heard.”
